Anaco Inn is a small, 14-room Inn located in Anacortes, Washington; a small tourist community located in the Pacific Northwest known as the gateway to the San Juan Islands. Guests stay time and time again because of the Inn's exceptionally clean rooms and "home away from home" service.
What the Inn lacked was a current website with an in-house reservation system and photos of their beautifully-remodeled rooms. Payment for a third party reservation component with an annual subscription was very expensive; there was reliance on the original web developer for site edits/additions and significant external advertising dollars were being spent that the owners felt could be eliminated with a search engine optimized and compelling website.
With a Joomla website, they could maintain their content without additional cost; reduce their advertising dollars; drive new guests to their site and control their own reservations.

Much had changed since the creation of the initial website. A new site was an opportunity to provide visitors an in-depth look at Anaco Inn including their remodeled rooms and new reservation system. It was also a chance to create a comprehensive linking system that featured all the activities, dining and shopping opportunities in Anacortes. This web-link feature is a Joomla! component that ensures links are automatically updated whenever they change.

A photographer was hired to take pictures of all the Inn's remodeled rooms. These beautiful images are now featured in the site's Rooms and Villas slideshows.
